Cameron, Can you tell me how I should change my account so that Rumples Pub pulls up when Open Mic seekers do a seach for a city and/or state?  I notice that other local Open Mic establishments in my area show up when I do a location search but not Rumples Pub.  Thanks for your help

Hi Cameron.  I'll be at the NAMM show and look forward to seeing you then.  In many ways, I am still pretty much a novice at the "OM" scene, but I've been kicking around the musical instrument  business long enough to know that piano dealerships have something very special to offer their communities by hosting "Piano Jams", open to all musicians, including pianists.  Not all piano dealers will agree with me, as many are used to doing recitals and those types of musical performances as the standard way of running things and can't quite understand why they'd wnat a bunch of guitar players coming into their stores. :-)   A secret I've kept from many of my associates in the piano industry for over 35 years, is that while I sell pianos and have worked for many piano manufacturers over the years, I don't play the piano.  I am a guitar player (more specifically an acoustic guitar player) and have had a life long fascination with acoustical, stringed instruments, all the way from dulcimers to concert grands.  My slogan of late is, "The only jobs in Heaven are for musicians.  Life is our audition!"  While I've heard and read a lot about trumpets and harps in the Bible, I can't recall reading anything about amplification:-)  My point is that the piano is a magnificent example of man's ability to work in harmony (pun intended) with nature, in order to produce musical instruments worthy of the angels.  I wish I could play the piano, but my soul is with the guitar.  Perhaps I have something positive to offer both sides of this great industry by working with piano and combo dealers to set up their own Piano Jams in their stores.  Looking forward to seeing you in Anaheim... Hi Cameron, I got your message about not having a profile pic up. Thanks for the reminder. I tried to send a picture via the special "upload pic" email on my profile and it doesn't seem to do anything. I'll check it again later. I might just try it another way if it continues to not work.
